YMC Library - Rules
Apart from the guide books and maps, members of the YMC may borrow books from the library. However members are requested to abide by the following rules:
Borrowing Books
- Only Full Members of the YMC may borrow books from the YMC library. Members are NOT permitted lend books, guides or maps to non-members.
- Guide Books and Maps are for reference purposes only and may NOT be removed from the library premises.
- Details of all book loans should be recorded on the sheet provided in the Library Catalogue.
In addition I remind you that members are responsible for the conduct of their guests when visiting the library and must ensure that they follow the above rules.
Returning Books
- Please returned all books to the shelves in correct numerical order before leaving the library. Doing so assists the librarian considerably in his arduous task.
- Please return borrowed books to the library, or the Librarian within a reasonable period of time.
- Please enter the return date against the loan record in the library catalogue if returning an item to the library.
